The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of heroes who will separate from the primary party to begin their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—used the foes for his own means, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the party reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the city for a range of causes, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Audiences can look forward to learning which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
